User groups help assign the access policies for a group of users. Users with the assigned privilege users-new can add a new group, edit group name, change groups access policies, and Generate users
The Generate Button only appear when the group name exists as a module, like “students, employees, coordinators...
Policies are embedded in the system for each module navigate to the group you need to edit its privileges, then go to the privileges tab, select the desired module, a list of privileges will appear, where you can authorize or deny the group's user from reading or editing or or depend on the module, by checking or unchecking the desired privilege.
Manage users: add user, disable, mail/print login, reset password and fine tune the access policies per users.
To create a new user first select the group where you need to add the user to then click on the [new] button.
Admin can specify per user privileges for fine tuning the user access. open the user you need to edit his privileges, then go to the privileges tab, select the desired module, a list of privileges will appear, where you can authorize or deny the group's user from reading or editing or or depend on the module, by checking or unchecking the desired privilege.
In some systems like HrMs, and StoreMS the user can have a special access to filter some category, like special departments, or special store.
In case that the system is connected to an HrMS, the user creation changes a bit, as the users must be enrolled in the HR department to be delivered a login, so the admin should select the employee name from an auto complete field.
* Encrypt password: check to enable or disable password encryption.
Note: the password already encrypted cannot be converted to plain text that means once the system gets encrypted the process can not be undone.
